Dominik Mysterio just got another problem—and this one is very nice, very evil.
During the July 20 episode of Monday Night RAW, WWE officially announced that Dominik will face Danhausen at SummerSlam 2026. The match was revealed after Danhausen continued making life miserable for Dom and The Judgment Day throughout the show.
Danhausen’s issues with Dominik exploded earlier in the night when Dom, JD McDonagh and Liv Morgan surrounded him and demanded their money back. Danhausen later brought a satchel to the ring, claimed he planned to give the money to the fans and then cursed The Judgment Day when they tried to take it.
Things only got worse for Dom during his match against Joe Hendry. Liv attempted to help Dominik steal the victory, but IYO SKY arrived to take her out of the equation. Danhausen then dropped Dom with a reverse DDT while the referee wasn’t looking, allowing Hendry to wake up and score the pin.
WWE didn’t waste any time turning that attack into a SummerSlam match. Dominik will now get the chance to settle the score with Danhausen on one of the company’s biggest stages.
The updated WWE SummerSlam 2026 card includes:
- Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship
- CM Punk vs. Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship
- Brock Lesnar vs. Oba Femi inside Hell in a Cell
- Liv Morgan vs. IYO SKY for the Women’s World Championship
- Penta vs. Chad Gable for the Intercontinental Championship
- Gunther vs. Nick Aldis
- Tiffany Stratton vs. Jade Cargill vs. three competitors to be announced in a five-way Interim WWE Women’s Championship Ladder Match
- LA Knight, Solo Sikoa and Royce Keys vs. Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso and Jacob Fatu
- Dominik Mysterio vs. Danhausen
SummerSlam takes place across two nights on August 1 and August 2 from U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. Dom may have wanted his money back, but now he’s getting a full match with the man who cursed him and cost him a win on RAW.
