Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods still haven’t revealed where they’re going after WWE, but their next booking isn’t exactly going to quiet the AEW rumors. The former New Day members are officially heading aboard Chris Jericho’s cruise.

Chris Jericho announced on Instagram that Kingston and Woods—now being advertised simply as Kofi and Austin Creed—will make their debut on the next Chris Jericho’s Rock ‘N’ Wrestling Rager at Sea, which sails from Miami to the Bahamas from November 7 through November 11. And Jericho isn’t exactly hiding what fans can expect from them.

“Hello Cruisers! It’s a brand new day and we are beyond excited to announce that Kofi and Austin Creed are making their Jericho Cruise debut!”

Even without The New Day name, Jericho leaned straight into everything associated with the duo’s WWE act.

“Get ready for Unicorns, Trombones, Gaming, Pancakes and so much more, as two of the most entertaining personalities in the biz, bring the party!!!!”

That’s a pretty interesting booking considering where speculation surrounding Kofi and Woods already stands. The pair are free of their 90-day non-compete restrictions and recently released a well-received animated video as they prepare for whatever comes next. AEW has repeatedly been floated as their likely destination, and now they’re joining an event run by one of the company’s biggest names.

The cruise itself isn’t confirmation that they’ve signed with AEW. Jericho’s event isn’t exclusively an AEW show, and wrestlers from outside the company have appeared on it before. But it’s another interesting connection at a time when reports about Kofi and Woods potentially heading to Tony Khan’s company have been piling up.

Just earlier today, Self Made Pro reported that he’s been given the impression the pair already have a new presentation they want to test if they arrive in AEW.

“But long term, I’ve been given the implication and impression that they want to try something that they haven’t been able to and basically reinvent themselves. I know that they have a number of ideas of things that they wanted to try and presentations that they wanted to do that they never got to. I’ve been given the impression that they have a new presentation that they want to test in AEW. I also was given the impression that there’s some guys that they already have on their list of people that they want to work with.”

Now their first Jericho Cruise appearance is officially on the books. It doesn’t put an AEW contract in Kofi or Woods’ hands, but the timing couldn’t be much better if they wanted to keep everyone guessing.

They’re out of WWE, the non-competes are gone, reports have them discussing a completely new presentation for AEW—and now Kofi and Austin Creed are literally getting on Chris Jericho’s boat. The next move still hasn’t been announced. The breadcrumbs aren’t exactly getting harder to follow.
