Jacob Fatu left Royce Keys covered in blood on the August 3 edition of Monday Night Raw. If you only watched the Netflix replay, you’d never know it happened.
Fans have spotted another quiet edit to WWE’s RAW replay, with Netflix removing the moment Keys was shown bleeding from the mouth following Fatu’s vicious post-match assault on the August 3 episode.
During the live broadcast, Fatu refused to stop attacking Keys after the referee called for the bell. After choking him out with the Tongan Death Grip, Fatu continued the assault, leaving Keys visibly bleeding before trapping a chair around his neck and crushing it with a running hip attack.
On Netflix’s replay, however, the blood has been edited out. It’s the latest in a growing list of changes fans have noticed after RAW episodes hit the streaming service. Earlier today, fans also spotted another edit involving Becky Lynch. During her live promo with Liv Morgan, Lynch delivered one of the night’s biggest insults by dragging Dominik Mysterio into the conversation.
“You’re not even the greatest women’s champion to sleep with Dominik Mysterio.”
The line aired live. By the time the replay was uploaded to Netflix, it had disappeared completely. The latest edits continue a trend that’s become increasingly common since WWE programming moved to Netflix. Previous replays have also blurred Bron Breakker’s blood, removed Oba Femi’s middle-finger exchange, replaced crowd chants, and edited blood from Raquel Rodriguez’s Women’s Intercontinental Championship victory.
Whether it’s blood, profanity or controversial dialogue, it’s become pretty obvious that some moments aren’t making it from the live broadcast to the replay untouched.
