Naomi has been on an absolute tear since returning to WWE last year and she is now one half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions with Bianca Belair. While she is primarily a tag team wrestler now, it appears Naomi is eyeing a future run in NXT as a singles competitor.

While speaking to The Wrestling Classic, Naomi revealed that she wants to have a singles run in NXT and hopes to win the NXT Women’s Championship. She talked about how fast the division is growing, especially with top athletes joining, and said she is excited about the talent in NXT.

Naomi also looked back on her time in NXT Season 3, stating that she feels she should have won and been the first NXT Women’s Champion. This still motivates her today and it’s on her to-do list.

“They’re picking it up a lot faster these days, especially with the D1 athletes coming in. It’s just like—man, these women are on a whole other level, and I love that.

I would love to face or work with anybody down in NXT, especially being an original NXT girl from Season 3. I think a lot of people don’t even remember that—or they forgot about it. But I would love to have a run in NXT because, honestly, I should have won the first NXT, and I didn’t.”

Naomi praised several NXT stars, including Lola Vice, Lash Legend, and Jakara Jackson. She also mentioned how much she likes Shotzi’s group, Chemical X, calling them unique and exciting.

Naomi is looking forward to seeing how they develop. With so much talent in NXT, Naomi feels inspired to return. She added that she still has something to prove and is determined to win the NXT Women’s Championship.

“I think Lola’s a great heel—she’s just nasty with it. They’re super talented. Lash and Jakara, of course. And I love—what are they called? Shotzi’s group? Chemical X? Chemical… Chemical X! I love it. It’s such a super cool name. They’ve got a super cool look, aesthetic—they just all flow so well together. I can’t wait to see how they continue to grow as a team. There’s just so much talent down there, the list goes on and on.

I’ve got a little chip on my shoulder. I should have been the first NXT Women’s Champion. That’s right—I should have won NXT, and I should have been the first Women’s Champion. So yeah, that’s definitely on my to-do list.”

With Naomi showing a strong interest in an NXT run, fans are eager to see if WWE will make it happen. Her experience, athleticism, and passion for the brand could create exciting bouts with today’s top NXT stars.
