MVP was missing when the Hurt Syndicate competed during the Buy-In for AEW All In 2026, leaving Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin without their manager at Wembley Stadium. Now, the reason behind his absence has been revealed.
Fightful Select confirmed that MVP couldn’t attend the show due to changes involving the visa process. The situation is already being addressed ahead of AEW’s future international events.
“MVP wasn’t at this show because the visa processes have changed, was the reason we were given. We were told that it’s being worked on for the future.”
Despite MVP’s absence, Lashley and Benjamin still competed during the Buy-In. The Hurt Syndicate teamed with Big Boom AJ and QT Marshall against Shane Taylor Promotions’ Shane Taylor, Lee Moriarty, Carlie Bravo and Shawn Dean.
The good news for the Hurt Syndicate is that work is already underway to resolve the situation. While MVP missed AEW’s biggest event of the year, the company is trying to ensure the same issue doesn’t keep him away from future international shows.
