TNA might not be done adding to its roster just yet. With Bound For Glory season heating up, the company welcomed several familiar names backstage at its latest television tapings, including a former AEW star that fans haven’t seen on national television in quite some time.
According to a new backstage report, though, showing up backstage doesn’t necessarily mean contracts have already been signed. At least for now, TNA appears to be keeping its options open while taking a closer look at a handful of talents.
According to Fightful Select, Abadon was backstage at TNA’s television tapings in San Antonio following the live September 25 edition of iMPACT. The report also notes that KJ Orso, B3CCA and Shazza McKenzie all competed during the tapings. It was added that none of the four talents have been signed by TNA as of yet.
The names are especially interesting because both Abadon and KJ Orso have AEW ties. Abadon spent several years with AEW after signing in 2020, while KJ Orso previously competed under the name Fuego Del Sol before eventually departing the promotion.
Whether any of those appearances turn into full-time deals remains to be seen, but it’s clear TNA is continuing to evaluate talent as it builds toward Bound For Glory. With multiple familiar faces getting an opportunity at the latest tapings, it wouldn’t be surprising if at least one of them sticks around beyond this weekend.
