MJF didn’t stop after giving Q a firsthand lesson in professional wrestling chops. By the time he was finished, all three Impractical Jokers had taken one.
TBS uploaded footage of MJF joining Q, Sal and Murr for a challenge at the American Dream Mall, and the whole thing started with one pretty unfortunate argument for Q to defend: wrestling chest chops don’t actually hurt. Q even claimed he could take five of them. MJF was standing right there to test that theory.
Q: “I’m saying that the chops that wrestlers do don’t hurt. And I could take five of them.”
MJF: “And I say they do hurt and he can’t.”
Q: “No.”
MJF: “And to me, there’s only one way to prove that. I’m gonna chop him in the chest five times. And then you tell me if you think it looks like it hurts. Is that fair?”
Shopper: “Yeah, sure.”
Q: “I don’t think that’s fair.”
Q suddenly wasn’t nearly as confident once his bare chest became part of the experiment. He started hesitating when MJF told him to take his shirt off, which MJF immediately used against him.
MJF: “Please take that off.”
Q: “Wait, wait, wait, wait…”
MJF: “See, if he’s so scared to do it, don’t you think that means I won?”
Q eventually went through with it. MJF cracked him across the chest, Q immediately let out a “Woo!” and the shopper had already seen enough.
Q: “Bro! Woo!”
Shopper: “That would definitely hurt.”
MJF: “Thank you.”
Q: “Didn’t hurt. It didn’t hurt at all.”
MJF: “Or we can do four more if you want.”
Q didn’t end up taking the other four. Instead, MJF started sharing the experience. Sal was next, and his reaction didn’t exactly help Q’s original argument that wrestling chops are harmless.
“Oh, God! This isn’t really by the rules here. This is crazy!”
That left Murr. After watching Q and Sal take theirs, Murr apparently decided being the only Joker who escaped an MJF chop wasn’t an option.
MJF: “I don’t think you want to do it. You really want to take it?”
Murr: “I’m not gonna be the only jerk that doesn’t get a chop.”
MJF: “Take your shirt off.”
Murr took off his shirt and joined the club. He tried to keep the joke going by insisting it didn’t hurt. That lasted about as long as you’d expect.
“Oh my God! No. No. No, doesn’t hurt. I’m going on break. Oh, my God! It hurts so much.”
The challenge started with Q trying to convince one shopper that wrestling chops don’t hurt. It ended with Q, Sal and Murr all getting cracked across the chest by a former AEW World Champion. At least nobody has to argue about it anymore.
