Miro showed a lot of promise when he debuted in AEW back in 2020 but his time with the company came to an end recently after he was granted his release. Fans wondered when he would make his appearance at a wrestling event and now it appears his first wrestling appearance following his AEW departure has been revealed.

Qatar Pro Wrestling took to Twitter and announced that Miro will make his first post-AEW appearance at their events this weekend, taking place on February 21st and 22nd at Aspire Ladies Sport Hall in Doha, Qatar.

Miro had been absent from AEW since Worlds End 2023. He joined AEW in September 2020, earning a seven-figure salary, with his original contract set to expire in the spring of 2022. However, he signed a four-year extension and that kept him under contract until 2026.

In September 2024, Miro requested his release from AEW and after months of waiting, it was granted last week. Many fans felt he was underutilized in AEW, especially during his final year with the company.

In addition to that, it was also reported WWE Creative expect Miro to make his return soon enough. Nevertheless, while Miro is more focused on his appearance for Qatar Pro Wrestling this week, his future in pro wrestling will remain a huge topic of discussion until he ends up signing with WWE or going elsewhere. Therefore, we’ll have to see what Miro will decide for his career in the end.
