The pro wrestling world is full of opinions, and Mercedes Moné certainly feels like she’s on top of the business. That being said, she’s not about to let anyone forget about her greatness.
Mercedes Moné had something to say after Dave Meltzer listed his picks for top all-around contenders in the ring. This all started when one fan asked the Wrestling Observer Newsletter writer, “Do you think Mercedes Mone has a shot at female wrestler of the year? I think it’s close between her and Iyo Sky.”
Meltzer posted his thoughts on X, as he said it’s a tough question. Then he got around to giving his picks.
“That’s a tough category. In ring the best is Sareee. All-around as contenders, I see Toni Storm, Mone, Sky, Sareee and Saya Kamitani as favorites.”
Mercedes Moné responded directly with a post of her own on X. She obviously didn’t appreciate what Dave Meltzer wrote about her.
“You dumb, stupid, salty Mark! I’m the greatest of all time, 10 belts Moné, The CEO, Último Moné. I had the greatest year of my career! 🤑
Who’s better than me?”
The multi-time current champion also invited fans to tag others in response, attaching her message with the hashtag #AEWDynamite and a series of laughing emojis. Obviously, she is not going to back down when the discussion is where she ranks in the pro wrestling world.
Fas will always debate who is the best pro wrestler in the world today. Whenever that subject comes up, it’s always bound to bring an interesting conversation. That being said, Dave Meltzer probably didn’t expect that The CEO would reply to his post.
