Kam Hendrix tried to flex on social media, but Max Caster wasn’t buying what the WWE NXT star was selling.

Hendrix took to Twitter/X on September 30 and posted a pair of shirtless photos while leaning all the way into his “Killa Kam” persona. The NXT wrestler gave himself plenty of hype in the caption, declaring that he only pulls “baddies.”

“Killa Kam only pulls baddies, you can only pull faddies, cuz I’m daddy ;)”

That was enough for AEW’s Max Caster to jump into the conversation, and he didn’t exactly hand Hendrix a compliment. Caster quote-tweeted the post and dropped a one-line roast aimed directly at Hendrix’s social media swagger.

“This guy is cringe, even for me.”

Coming from Caster, that’s a pretty brutal shot. The former AEW World Tag Team Champion has spent years trolling people, talking trash and deliberately pushing buttons online, so admitting somebody else managed to out-cringe him says plenty.

Hendrix has been leaning heavily into the confidence on social media lately, posting photos and messages built around his larger-than-life persona as his NXT run continues to develop. This time, though, the flex reached outside WWE and caught the attention of somebody from AEW.

Caster didn’t turn it into some giant company war or drag things out with a thread. He saw the photos, saw the caption and hit Hendrix with six words that basically said everything he needed to say.

There’s no indication this is anything more than Caster having some fun at Hendrix’s expense, but it didn’t take long for the exchange to start circulating among wrestling fans. Hendrix wanted attention with the photos, and thanks to Max Caster, he definitely got it — just maybe not for the reason he expected.

What do you think about Max Caster calling Kam Hendrix “cringe,” and was Hendrix’s post actually that bad? Let us know your thoughts and feedback in the comments.
