Mandy Rose appears to have closed the door on a return to the ring.

The former WWE star recently addressed her wrestling future and made it clear that her in-ring career is likely finished following her controversial departure from the company in 2022.

Rose, known as “The Golden Goddess,” was released by WWE after running a subscription-based content platform that violated company policies. Since then, she has pivoted toward business ventures, including building her beauty and skincare brand Amarose.

Even though Rose has occasionally been spotted training alongside Elayna Black, who previously performed in WWE as Cora Jade, fans have continued to speculate about a potential comeback. However, during an appearance on the Prince St. Pizza podcast, Rose explained that her WWE exit effectively marked the end of her time as an active wrestler.

“It was the end of my career, which is kind of like, you know, I kind of like went out on top, which I always wanted to, but I didn’t suspect that my career was ending. It was just something that happened, and it ended, but like I said, I was grateful that I had that run because it really like increased my equity in the company like 10 fold.”

Rose went on to say that her life after wrestling has been financially rewarding and that leaving the industry allowed her to pursue opportunities that have paid off in a big way.

“Yeah, yeah. It was because, yeah, what I'm doing now, and, like, what the money, financially, what I've made since being out of there, is really significantly higher, and there's a means to it in wrestling. Like, listen, I love it. I'm grateful for but personally, I don't want to be, like, 50 years old, and I can't get out of bed. Like, I just that's not what I want. Like, I want to be healthy. I'm very much into fitness and it takes a huge toll on your body and and, you know, like I said, I didn't expect it to end that way, but I also am grateful for, you know, what had happened, and now I get to, like, do all these other things, and I'm, you know, it's a blessing, but it is what it is you did.”

Rose’s comments suggest that while she still appreciates the career she had inside the ring, she has moved on to a different chapter focused on business, fitness, and brand-building.

While wrestling fans continue to speculate about surprise returns in the industry, Rose appears comfortable with how her career wrapped up and has no immediate plans to step back between the ropes.
