WWE is apparently bringing some huge shows to Arizona as part of TKO’s new partnership with the state.
Earlier this week, TKO Group Holdings and the Arizona Sports & Event Alliance announced a new agreement that will bring seven major events to Arizona involving WWE, UFC, Zuffa Boxing, and Professional Bull Riding.
At the time, WWE did not reveal which Premium Live Events would actually be included in the deal. Now, according to Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline.com, some of WWE’s biggest annual events are expected to be part of the agreement.
“The new Phoenix agreement is for a Survivor Series, Royal Rumble, and Saturday Night’s Main Event.”
If those plans stay in place, Arizona will end up hosting two of WWE’s biggest yearly events outside of WrestleMania.
As of now, WWE has only officially announced major events through Money in the Bank on September 6 in New Orleans. WWE still has not confirmed locations yet for this year’s Survivor Series or the 2027 Royal Rumble. The deal is another example of TKO continuing to push WWE and UFC events as destination attractions tied to tourism partnerships and major city agreements.
Do you think Arizona is a good location for events like Royal Rumble and Survivor Series, or should WWE bring those shows somewhere else? Leave your thoughts and feedback in the comments below.
