Last week on RAW, General Manager Kurt Angle announced a number one contender match for the Universal Championship will be determined at next month’s Extreme Rules pay-per-view. That match is no longer taking place, as announced on RAW.
Angle mentioned during the opening segment of tonight’s show that there were complications involving Brock Lesnar and that match is no longer taking place. WWE instead teased Bobby Lashley vs. Roman Reigns for Extreme Rules instead.
