Liv Morgan has won plenty of championships during her WWE career, but it turns out she’s also the undisputed champion of sneaker shopping.
While appearing at ComplexCon, Cody Rhodes was asked about WWE stars who’ve appeared on Complex’s Sneaker Shopping. That’s when he revealed there’s actually an unofficial leaderboard inside WWE tracking who has spent the most—and the least—on the show.
“I also found — so, there’s a list now. WWE has a list of who’s spent the most, who’s spent the least.”
Cody admitted he isn’t even near the top anymore. He joked that Paul Heyman recently passed him on the spending list, even throwing in a playful shot about Heyman’s shoe size while telling the story.
“Yes, recently. Mr. — who also has a wide foot — Mr. Paul Heyman.”
But even Heyman isn’t close to the person sitting at No. 1. The host pointed out that Liv Morgan still holds the all-time spending record among WWE personalities who’ve appeared on the show after dropping more than $11,000 on sneakers.
“And then Liv Morgan has spent the most. Over 11 grand.”
Cody also picked up a few new pairs during the episode, walking away with three pairs of sneakers for a total of around $1,300. Even so, he admitted he wasn’t interested in trying to chase Liv’s record.
“And like we said, a little bit of LA for ComplexCon being here. But I didn’t take the bait on trying to compete. Liv remains the champion. She is the undisputed champion sneaker shopping WWE-wise, but I’m very happy with these sneakers.”
So while Cody Rhodes may have plenty of titles on his résumé, he’s perfectly happy letting Liv Morgan keep this one. For now, the Women’s World Champion remains the biggest sneaker spender WWE has ever sent to Sneaker Shopping.
