Tony Khan has just shaken up tonight’s AEW Dynamite card with the addition of a pivotal four-way women’s tag team bout—and it comes with major implications.
The match will feature four teams competing for more than just a win. According to Khan, the duo that walks out victorious will earn the right to choose their own opponents for the opening round of the AEW Women’s Tag Team Championship Tournament. The match will include:
- Megan Bayne & Penelope Ford
- Queen Aminata & Jamie Hayter
- Harley Cameron & Willow Nightingale
- Skye Blue & Julia Hart
Tony Khan made the announcement on X earlier today, writing, “The winning duo will pick their first round opponents in the Women’s World Tag Team Title Tournament! DYNAMITE TONIGHT!“
The tag tournament bracket will also be revealed during the show, building even more momentum around AEW’s latest championship division. With strategic advantage on the line, every team has extra motivation to win tonight’s clash.
