TNA Wrestling is bringing back one of its signature match types for Slammiversary 2026.
The company announced on social media that a Ladder Match will take place at TNA Slammiversary on Sunday, June 28. The event is scheduled to air live on pay-per-view and TNA+ from the Agganis Arena in Boston, Massachusetts. TNA made the announcement with a promotional graphic teasing the return of the chaotic stipulation.
“BREAKING: The Ladder Match returns at #TNASlammiversary on June 28 LIVE on PPV and TNA+ from the Agganis Arena in Boston.”
As of now, TNA has not announced which wrestlers will compete in the match or what exactly will be hanging above the ring. Even so, the announcement immediately sparked speculation among fans given the company’s long history with ladder matches over the years.
The last ladder match to take place in TNA happened at Slammiversary 2025. That bout saw The Hardys defeat The Nemeths, First Class, and The Rascalz to capture the TNA Tag Team Championships in a multi-team ladder war.
With Slammiversary traditionally serving as one of TNA’s biggest events of the year, the return of the stipulation adds another major attraction to the card as the company continues building toward the June pay-per-view.
