Kyle Fletcher is clearing the air after his comments about AEW All In Texas 2025 stirred attention.

Fletcher had previously called the day his match changed — after Adam Cole was forced to withdraw — one of the worst days of his life. Now, he’s speaking again to explain that he regrets how he said it and admits his wording didn’t come out the way he intended.

While speaking with Adrian Hernandez for Unlikely, Fletcher said he was upset with himself after hearing how his comments sounded and wanted to make sure he addressed it directly.

“Look, that comment that I made the other day—I was very upset with myself for the way I worded it. I would like to apologize for the way I spoke and the words that I used. I think the words I used were a bit insensitive, saying it was one of the worst days of my life.”

Fletcher also explained that he was trying to focus only on his own emotions and avoid speaking about Adam Cole’s situation, which he believes is Cole’s story to tell.

“My thought process when I was answering that—and answering any questions about that day—is that I never want to talk about somebody else’s story. That whole day, that whole situation, a lot of it is Adam’s story to tell.”

He made it clear that while he felt emotional about how the day unfolded, he doesn’t believe his feelings compare to what Cole has gone through.

“I don’t feel like I have the right to complain about any of it, because what Adam is going through—and has gone through—my feelings pale in comparison to it.”

Fletcher’s response shows he wanted to correct the record and make sure his earlier comments didn’t come across as disrespectful toward Cole, especially given the circumstances surrounding the match change.
