Kurt Angle is giving Triple H a serious nod of approval when it comes to how WWE is being run behind the scenes.
During his appearance on The Ariel Helwani Show, the WWE Hall of Famer opened up about the creative direction under Paul “Triple H” Levesque—and he didn’t hold back his praise. According to Angle, the transition from Vince McMahon to Triple H has been smooth, thanks to the leadership qualities that Levesque brings to the table.
“He’s doing incredibly well, I’m so proud of him, he’s a great leader.”
Angle pointed out that Triple H’s full-time retirement from in-ring competition has allowed him to fully invest himself in WWE’s creative operations. That focus, according to Angle, is paying off.
“The thing is, him being retired and out of the business, he really looks at it as ‘I need to focus on this business and make it the best it can be,’ and he’s done that incredibly well.”
With WWE now under the TKO Group Holdings umbrella, Angle made it clear that the company chose the right man to take the reins.
“I think TKO made the right decision on making him in charge of creative, and I think he’s doing a hell of a job.”
Triple H’s creative leadership continues to win support from within the locker room and legends alike. With someone like Kurt Angle publicly giving him props, it looks like Hunter’s grip on WWE’s future is stronger than ever.
