Kurt Angle celebrated his 54th birthday on last week’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown. It was a memorable episode with a lot of moments that induced nostalgia for many. Unsurprisingly, the episode did quite well in ratings, and Kurt Angle was responsible for it. Angle finally reacted to his involvement in the huge spike in ratings.

During his birthday celebration, Kurt Angle hosed down The Alpha Academy while Gable Steveson stood by his side. This was a clear callback to Angle’s Milk Truck segment several years ago. In fact, Angel’s wife could smell milk on him days later.
Friday Night Smackdown drew 2.3 million viewers last week, which was a huge spike compared to the previous week’s show. Kurt Angle took to Twitter and reacted to his involvement in the huge ratings spike.

Kurt Angle is also almost fully recovered after his double knee surgery. Angle then revealed that he is going back into retirement after last Friday’s appearance. So it seems fans will have to wait a while before they get to see Kurt Angle again.
