It’s been confirmed that Kiana James has been officially moved off WWE’s active roster, and now we know why.
According to PWInsider sources, the rising WWE star has suffered a leg injury and could be out of action for as long as six months.
Earlier reports noted that Kiana James had been shifted to the ‘miscellaneous’ category on WWE’s internal roster, but there was no explanation until now. The injury comes as a setback for James, who was drafted to WWE Raw earlier this year and had made appearances in backstage segments as well as competing in two matches on Raw in June 2024.
Fans will certainly miss James, as she was just beginning to establish herself on the main roster. Hopefully, we’ll see her make a full recovery and return to action stronger than ever.
Meanwhile, WWE Raw is set to air live tonight from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, with a special appearance from wrestling legend Bret ‘The Hitman’ Hart for the season premiere episode on the USA Network.
