Kevin Owens is heading into tonight’s WWE SmackDown with the oddsmakers expecting him to leave Toronto with the Undisputed WWE Championship.

BetOnline.ag has released betting odds for CM Punk’s title defense against Owens on the August 21 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, and Owens is currently listed as the favorite. The line has Owens sitting at -160, while defending champion CM Punk comes in as the +120 underdog.

That’s an interesting spot for Punk considering he’s walking into the match with the championship around his waist. Owens earned the title shot at SummerSlam after winning a Fatal Four-Way against Finn Balor, Gunther and Sami Zayn to become the number one contender.

Here are the current betting odds:

  • Kevin Owens: -160
  • CM Punk: +120

Owens is looking to capture his first WWE World Championship in nearly a decade, while Punk will be trying to keep his Undisputed WWE Championship run alive.

The match headlines a loaded SmackDown from the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto. Tama Tonga and Talla Tonga will also defend the WWE Tag Team Championships against Damian Priest and R-Truth, while Blake Monroe makes her main roster in-ring debut against Giulia. Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton are also scheduled to appear. For now, the betting line points toward a major title change, with Owens entering SmackDown as the favorite to knock off Punk.
