Kevin Knight isn’t saying much after turning on Darby Allin at AEW Double or Nothing, but his first post after the show is already getting attention.

Following Double or Nothing, Knight took to Twitter and dropped a cryptic message after his shocking heel turn. Instead of explaining why he attacked Darby, Knight kept things short and wrote only three dots: “…”

The tweet came after one of the biggest surprises of the night at Louis Armstrong Stadium. Darby Allin defended the AEW World Title against MJF in a title versus hair match, but MJF ultimately won the match to begin his third reign as AEW World Champion.

After the match, Darby was being carted out on a stretcher when Kevin Knight came down to the entrance area. At first, it looked like Knight may have been there for his friend, but he suddenly turned the stretcher over instead, leaving Darby in even worse shape.

The moment was even enough to stun MJF, who stood on the entrance ramp with his mouth open after watching Knight turn on Darby. Knight had previously given Darby a pep talk before the title match, which now makes the whole thing look like a setup.

Knight’s cryptic tweet does not explain anything, but that may be the point. After staying silent except for “….,” he has only made the betrayal feel more calculated. Darby Allin likely won’t let this go once he is able to respond, but after the brutal match and post-match attack, AEW now has a major new issue between him and Kevin Knight coming out of Double or Nothing.

Do you think Kevin Knight planned the Darby Allin betrayal all along? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comments.
