Kendal Grey is not exactly sorry about cracking Lola Vice with the NXT Women’s Championship.
The June 16 episode of WWE NXT ended with Grey standing tall after she pulled the title away from Kelani Jordan and blasted Lola with it before the show went off the air. It was a nasty final shot, especially with Grey and Vice already set to collide for the NXT Women’s Title at Great American Bash.
Grey addressed the moment the next day on X, and she played it off like the whole thing was just some innocent little mistake. Grey then made sure Lola knew the countdown is on.
“It really was an accident… but I have to admit, it feels nice to hold the championship in my hands…”
“See you in 11 days😈 @lolavicewwe”
That is not exactly the tone of someone losing sleep over it. Lola may be the champion, but Grey is already getting comfortable with the idea of holding that title. After dropping Vice on NXT and then bragging about how good the championship felt in her hands, Grey is making it clear she is not walking into Great American Bash just happy to be there.
She wants the belt, and she just got a little preview. Now Lola Vice has 11 days to answer back before Kendal Grey gets her official shot.
