K.C. Navarro is headed to TNA Bound For Glory after punching his ticket to the X Division Championship match.

Navarro faced new TNA signee Joe Alonzo in a qualifying match on the September 3, 2026 episode of TNA iMPACT. Navarro picked up the win and became the first wrestler to qualify for the six-way Scramble match that will crown a new X Division Champion.

The title was left vacant after Leon Slater chose to cash in Option C. Slater gave up the X Division Championship in exchange for a shot at Nic Nemeth and the TNA World Championship at Bound For Glory on October 11.

TNA then announced that six wrestlers would compete in a Scramble match at Bound For Glory to determine Slater’s replacement as champion, with Navarro now officially taking the first spot.

The updated Bound For Glory card currently includes:

  • TNA World Championship: Nic Nemeth (c) vs. Leon Slater
  • TNA X Division Championship — Six-Way Scramble Match: K.C. Navarro vs. TBD vs. TBD vs. TBD vs. TBD vs. TBD

Navarro now has a huge opportunity waiting for him at Bound For Glory, but five more names still have to earn their way into the match before the new X Division Champion can be crowned.

Who do you want to see join K.C. Navarro in the six-way X Division Championship match? Let us know in the comments.
