Kane isn’t leaving much room for debate about Triple H’s creative ability. The WWE Hall of Famer put Paul Levesque above everyone he has seen in wrestling—and explained why his praise goes beyond what happens inside a WWE ring.

During a Big Texas Comicon panel hosted by Emily May, Kane and Matt Hardy were asked which wrestling storylines and characters stood out to them. Kane initially resisted picking a favorite, explaining that those answers can change depending on personal taste.

“So, um I don’t know if I can It’s always hard to say what’s the best because it really is very subjective and depends on your taste and, you know, when people ask me, ‘Who’s Who’s your Mount Rushmore?’ Okay, it just kind of depends on the day and, you know, all that.”

But when the discussion shifted to the person running WWE creative, Kane had a much firmer answer. He singled out Triple H and praised both his wrestling instincts and the product taking shape under his leadership.

“Um one thing I’d like to say though I think as far as WWE, uh having Paul Levesque as head of creative, that dude has the best creative mind in the game I’ve ever seen when it comes to wrestling. And it’s just amazing now, you know, to see um to see the production and to see what they’re doing.”

Kane also pointed to something bigger than booking matches or deciding who gets a championship. He praised Triple H’s willingness to work with other promotions, arguing that WWE benefits when the rest of the wrestling business succeeds.

“Uh so, I I think that one of the most important things has actually happened for the industry. And also, his overall philosophy on the wrestling business, um you know, and and the fact that he’ll work with different promotions because he understands that WWE benefits when the entire business is doing well and that turns into a pipeline for talent.”

For Kane, that outlook was a major part of the endorsement. He finished his answer by giving Triple H credit for what he had accomplished with WWE.

“You know, that that is a super refreshing mind. I just applaud what he’s been able to do with the company.”

Kane’s assessment also has company in WWE’s executive ranks. Nick Khan has described Triple H as the best creative in wrestling, explaining that confidence in the company’s team helps guide decisions even when social media criticism gets loud.

Kane stopped short of picking wrestling’s best storyline, but he had no trouble picking its best creative mind. Between the television product and the willingness to do business across promotional lines, Triple H has clearly earned the Big Red Machine’s vote.

What do you think of Kane’s assessment of Triple H, and which creative decisions best support—or challenge—his argument? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
