Kairi Sane isn’t short on options. In fact, the former NXT Women’s Champion says she’s received so many offers since becoming a free agent that she can’t even count them all—and she’s still not ready to decide where she’ll wrestle next.
Speaking to ShuPro, Kairi opened up about her future for the first time since leaving WWE, revealing that promotions from around the world have been reaching out as the race to sign one of wrestling’s biggest free agents heats up.
“Right after the release, my head was an absolute jumble, so I tried not to think about it for a bit. But now, I’m extremely grateful… I’ve received offers from so many promotions around the world that I can’t even count them on both hands—both inside Japan and internationally. I actually met with the people who reached out from Japan.”
That doesn’t mean she’s rushing into anything. Despite already holding meetings with promotions in Japan and weighing offers from overseas, Kairi says the biggest decision of her post-WWE career is still waiting to be made.
“I haven’t made a final decision yet. I’m prepared to complete a new story from here, all the way to the end.”
Those comments line up with recent reports surrounding Kairi’s free agency. It was previously reported that, despite being eligible to appear, Kairi wasn’t backstage at AEW’s Redemption event or Marigold’s latest show. The report added that she remains unsigned while evaluating multiple opportunities, with interest coming from several promotions—including offers that wouldn’t require her to sign an exclusive contract.
That speculation only increased after Kairi updated her social media profiles to list veteran agent Barry Bloom as her representative for business inquiries. Bloom represents several top AEW names, immediately fueling rumors that All Elite Wrestling could be her next destination.
For now, though, Kairi isn’t tipping her hand. She admits the offers keep coming, the meetings are happening, and promotions around the world want her signature. The only thing missing is the decision itself.
One thing seems certain: wherever Kairi Sane shows up next, it won’t be because she ran out of choices. It’ll be because she picked the next chapter she wants to write.
