Jordynne Grace isn’t letting internet chatter define her WWE deal. The current NXT standout has responded directly to rumors claiming she took a “mark deal” and a massive pay cut to join WWE—saying those claims are ridiculous.
On the Self Made podcast, Grace addressed the talk head-on when asked about signing a smaller contract with WWE earlier this year.
“A ‘Mark Deal’ pay cut is insane. Honestly, I did take a pay cut, but in my eyes, it’s an investment — an investment for the future, to be honest.”
Grace clarified that while her paycheck might be smaller than before, she’s still making solid money—and the real value lies in the exposure WWE provides.
“It’s still incredible money, but getting my name out there and having more people follow me and my brand, I feel like that’s going to pay off when, you know, everybody eventually gets released.”
“So, I feel like I’ll have an even bigger following when I eventually leave, and I’ll be able to capitalize on that then.”
Grace signed a five-year deal with WWE earlier this year, locking her in until 2029. Her move to WWE gives her the platform to expand her reach far beyond the independent scene and opens the door for long-term brand building.
For Grace, it’s not about short-term cash—it’s about betting on herself for a bigger future payoff.
