Lil Uzi Vert has another WWE star waiting for him. A year after Dominik Mysterio said he was ready to fight the rapper, Je’Von Evans has now called Uzi out himself—and wants him to start training.
Speaking with Love Wrestling on August 12, Evans was asked which celebrity or athlete he’d most like to wrestle. Uzi was his immediate choice: “I feel like Uzi.” And Evans wasn’t interested in simply throwing out a dream opponent. When asked whether he was officially calling Uzi out, he turned it into a direct invitation.
“I think I’m calling him out. You know, I might as well. Lil Uzi, bro, come see the PC, start training so we can have a match. You feel me? Go crazy. One-on-one. What’s the word?”
Evans certainly isn’t the first WWE star to find himself connected to Uzi. Dominik Mysterio was talking about exactly the same matchup in August 2025 after learning the rapper had previously singled him out.
“I know Lil Uzi, a couple of years ago, said he’d want to get in the ring with me. If he’s still down, you know—I’m here.”
That whole thing actually started with Uzi. After WrestleMania 39, Cathy Kelley asked him to name his dream WrestleMania opponent, and he immediately picked Dominik.
“Dominik. Yes. I feel like that’s my job. I have to do that.”
Uzi also teased potentially getting involved when WrestleMania 40 came to his hometown of Philadelphia, although nothing ultimately came from it. Now Dominik isn’t his only option. Evans wants Uzi at the Performance Center, wants him training and has already challenged him to settle things one-on-one.
Lil Uzi Vert once picked Dominik Mysterio. Je’Von Evans just picked Lil Uzi Vert. If the rapper still wants his WWE moment, he’s suddenly got a choice to make.
Who should Lil Uzi Vert face if he finally steps into a WWE ring—Je’Von Evans or Dominik Mysterio? Let us know in the comments.
