JBL thinks AAA’s momentum may be about to turn into something bigger.

AAA has been airing shows on YouTube for fans outside its regular markets in Mexico, Central America, and South America. That easy access has helped more fans around the world follow the promotion, especially with WWE talent and bigger crossover stories bringing more attention to the brand.

During a new interview on Busted Open Radio, JBL made it clear that he does not have inside information, but he believes AAA could end up landing another television deal soon.

“I don’t have any insight about this, I’m not giving away anything from meetings or anything but I think they’re going to get a pretty good TV deal coming up. They’ve got a good Fox Deportes deal down from Mexico to South America, I think they’ll get another TV deal.”

That would be a major step for AAA, especially with the promotion already gaining more international attention through YouTube and its current Fox Deportes presence.

JBL’s comments come at a time when AAA has been getting a lot more discussion from fans after major events like Noche de Los Grandes and the Mask vs. Mask match between El Grande Americano and the Original El Grande Americano. Nothing has been officially announced yet, and JBL made it clear he was only giving his opinion. Still, he seems convinced AAA’s recent momentum could lead to another TV deal.
