Former WWE employee Janel Grant took to social media this week to share photos of letters she says were sent to her by federal authorities, and she disabled the comments section on the post after publishing it.

Grant uploaded an image to her personal Instagram page showing letters she stated were received from the Federal Bureau of Investigation between May 2023 and December 2025. Along with the photos, she included a lengthy written message explaining why she decided to release the letters publicly.

According to Grant, the timing of her post was connected to legislative discussions in Connecticut involving nondisclosure agreement policy, specifically a measure identified as Raised Bill S.B. 355. She said she believed sharing the letter was important to help inform the broader conversation around NDA laws. Grant explained that receiving communication from federal authorities was something she never expected, especially over such an extended period.

“This is the first letter I got from the FBI. I got these letters between May 2023 and mid-December 2025. I never thought I’d get a letter like this, much less years of them.”

She also tied the letters to previously reported federal activity and investigations that followed internal reviews and settlement agreements connected to workplace allegations.

“Ahead of the vote in CT on Raised Bill S.B. 355, I believe it’s important to share this letter in service of the broader conversation.”

Grant further referenced past reporting about subpoenas and federal document requests tied to allegations involving workplace misconduct over several years.

“This is why I received letters like this – and why I continued to receive them up until a few months ago. The status quo in practice is how we arrived here.”

Notably, Grant disabled comments on the post after sharing the images and statement, preventing public replies directly on the post itself. Grant’s decision to release the letters publicly while turning off comments adds another development to an ongoing situation that has remained under scrutiny, particularly as lawmakers in Connecticut continue to review proposed NDA-related legislation.
