Jacy Jayne isn’t walking onto WWE’s main roster hoping she belongs there. She already believes she does, and now she wants everybody watching to understand that she sees herself as WWE’s new “It Girl.”

Speaking on The Wrestling Classic, Jayne was asked how it feels to be checking off major accomplishments on the main roster after defeating established names and capturing championship gold. Jayne said the experience feels like something she has pictured for years.

“Yeah, I love it. Um, I feel like I’ve envisioned this life my entire life. So now to actually be living it, it’s a dream come true.”

Jayne isn’t approaching the main roster like someone who still needs to figure everything out. She believes her years in NXT exposed her to virtually every kind of challenge WWE can throw at her.

“But also, I feel like I’m just so prepared. Um, I feel like I’ve had everything possible thrown at me in NXT.”

That experience has left Jayne feeling like there isn’t much WWE can put in front of her that she can’t handle.

“So now being on the main roster, there’s nothing that you could throw at me that I’m not prepared for.”

Jayne said she has reached a point where she feels completely comfortable when it’s time to perform, and fear isn’t something she carries through the curtain anymore.

“And I feel really comfortable. Um, so I feel like I can overcome anything. Like nothing really scares me. Nothing. I don’t have fear about anything.”

Then Jayne made her biggest declaration of the entire answer. Every appearance is now another opportunity for her to prove exactly where she believes she belongs in WWE’s hierarchy.

“I just every time I walk through that curtain, I just want to make the most of my time and show everybody that I am the new WWE it girl.”

That confidence didn’t appear overnight. Elsewhere in the same interview, Jayne admitted there were years when she was still trying to find herself, but her time as NXT Women’s Champion and TNA Knockouts World Champion helped solidify the performer she is today.

Now that Jayne is on WWE’s main roster, she isn’t framing herself as someone simply happy to be there. She wants the spotlight, she wants the pressure, and she clearly believes the next phase of her career is about making WWE revolve around her.

Do you think Jacy Jayne has what it takes to become WWE’s next “It Girl,” or does she still have more to prove on the main roster? Let us know what you think in the comments.
