The May 4 episode of WWE RAW went down at the CHI Health Center Omaha in Omaha, Nebraska. Roman Reigns was on hand to make his mark and sign a contract at the end of the night.

Roman Reigns already crashed out backstage during RAW this week. The OTC has an World Heavyweight Title match against Jacob Fatu at Backlash. He isn’t having a great time in this fued, as it’s taken a lot out of him.

The main evetn segment of the night saw Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu come out for a contract signing. Adam Pearce introduced both men, and he also led the segment to the best of his ability.

Roman Reigns spoke directly to Jacob Fatu across a table after inking his contract. He admitted to opening the door for Solo Sikoa. Since Solo brought Jacob Fatu in, then Reigns took credit for that. Then he demanded respect. Reigns said that there needs to be an honor system in his family, a system of conduct that they can hang their hat on. Reigns brought attention to the Tongan Death Grip, and how Jacob Fatu is using that move now. He said that move is only for desperate measures, and you don’t do that to your Tribal Chief.

Jacob Fatu made it clear that he is desperate, but Roman Reigns is not his Tribal Chief. Fatu is all gas, no brakes, and he is desperate enough to do anything for his household, even if he has to run through his own blood. Reigns made it clear that he’s worried about way more than Jacob Fatu, because everything is on his shoulders. WWE wants to do business with him, and it’s his ring.

Roman Reigns said that they’re equals in their family, but in the ring he’s beneath him. Jacob Fatu didn’t like hearing that, so he jumped Roman Reigns. The two brawled for a bit, and Adam Pearce tried to break them up, but it didn’t work. Then Fatu latched on a Tongan Death Grip as Reigns went for a Superman Punch.

Jacob Fatu put Roman Reigns through the table with the help of the Tongan Death Grip. That was quite a way to put the finishing touches on this storyline as they head toward Backlash. Fans chanted “Fatu” as the show went off the air, and for good reason.

WWE Backlash 2026 is scheduled for Saturday, May 9, 2026, at the Benchmark International Arena in Tampa, Florida. Ringside News will keep a close eye on the OTC and Samoan Werewolf’s upcoming war.
