Eric Andre came to WWE RAW for a front-row seat, and he ended up getting wrecked by Jacob Fatu.
The June 15 episode of Monday Night RAW opened with Roman Reigns, Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, and Jacob Fatu all tied into a major Bloodline segment. Roman started the show by hyping Jey Uso’s King of the Ring run before making Baltimore acknowledge him.
Then things got tense fast. Jey wanted Jacob Fatu to acknowledge him and Jimmy Uso, but Fatu was not having it. Roman got in Jacob’s face, and Fatu made it clear that he does not answer to the Usos.
“I don’t listen to Jimmy and Jey. The only person that I acknowledge is the OTC.”
Roman then brought out a new Ula Fala and made the moment official. He told Fatu that he was no longer an outsider and welcomed him into the family business.
“Welcome to the Family Business, welcome to the Bloodline.”
That should have been the big moment, but WWE had one more wild turn waiting. As The Bloodline started leaving, Eric Andre was shown at ringside. Andre co-stars with Roman Reigns in the upcoming Street Fighter movie, but that connection did not save him.
Jacob Fatu suddenly grabbed Andre, yanked him over the barricade, and threw him into the ring. Security rushed in, but Roman gave Fatu the order to finish the job. Fatu climbed to the top rope and crushed Andre with a diving headbutt. Then, while Roman laughed, Fatu went back up and hit him with another one.
That was the real message of the segment. Roman did not just welcome Jacob Fatu into the Bloodline. He immediately used him as a weapon and let him destroy a celebrity guest in front of the entire arena. Eric Andre may have been there for a fun WWE cameo, but he left as Jacob Fatu’s first major victim after officially being brought into Roman Reigns’ Bloodline.
