VertVixen wanted an AEW contract, and now she has one. After spending years fighting for opportunities across the independent scene, the 34-year-old wrestler is officially under contract with All Elite Wrestling.

According to Fightful Select, VertVixen’s status was confirmed after questions were raised about her involvement in promotional work surrounding AEW All In. The exact structure of her contract remains unclear, including whether she signed a full-time salaried deal or is being paid per appearance.

This didn’t happen overnight. VertVixen worked more than two dozen dates for AEW and Ring of Honor before her bookings started picking up in July. She has since become a regular presence on ROH programming and also landed an appearance on AEW Collision.

VertVixen had openly discussed wanting to join AEW, so the deal gives her the opportunity she spent years chasing. Now the real test begins as she tries to turn those appearances into a permanent spot on television.

AEW hasn’t made a formal announcement or revealed its creative plans for VertVixen, but she is officially in the fold. After years of grinding without a guaranteed spot, she finally has an AEW contract attached to her name.

What would you like to see AEW do with VertVixen now that she is under contract? Leave your feedback in the comments.
