Hank & Tank punched their ticket to the next round of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic during the WWE NXT episode on October 6, 2026, but EVOLVE’s Shido Ash and Viktor Zanov made them earn it. The match was a straight-up fight, with both teams throwing around plenty of power before Hank Walker and Tank Ledger finally took control.
Ash and Zanov had their moments early, with Zanov overpowering Ledger and later dropping Walker with a powerslam and German Suplex. Hank & Tank kept hanging around, though, and Ledger eventually fired back with clotheslines, throws and a cannonball to Zanov on the floor.
Walker then got involved in a big way, sending Ash over the announce desk with a shoulder tackle. Ash and Zanov tried to set up a double chokeslam late in the match, but Walker escaped and turned things around. Walker hit Ash with a Bossman Slam and a huge clothesline before Hank & Tank connected with their finisher to score the win.
That was enough to send Hank Walker and Tank Ledger into the next round of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, while Ash and Zanov saw their tournament run come to an end.
