The Great Khali had a scary moment on the road Saturday after his SUV was involved in an accident near the Panipat Toll Plaza in India. Despite his vehicle taking some serious-looking damage, the WWE Hall of Famer reportedly walked away completely unharmed.
As revealed by footage obtained by India Today, Khali was traveling from Punjab to Sonipat when his SUV collided with another vehicle near the toll plaza. A crowd quickly gathered around the scene, but there were no reported injuries from the accident. India Today confirmed the good news while sharing details about what happened.
“The Great Khali narrowly escaped injury after his SUV collided with another vehicle near the Panipat toll plaza. No one was injured in the accident, though Khali’s vehicle was damaged.”
The Great Khali apparently didn’t let the accident end his journey either. With his SUV damaged, he left it behind at the scene, arranged another vehicle and continued toward Sonipat.
“He later left the damaged SUV and continued towards Sonipat in another vehicle.”
Exactly what led to the collision remains unclear, but Khali getting out without a scratch is obviously the biggest takeaway. His SUV might need some work, but the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion is doing just fine.
