Zoey Serrano didn’t waste much time finding backup for Bound For Glory — and she went straight for somebody who knows a thing or two about hurting people.
Later during the October 8, 2026 episode of TNA iMPACT, Serrano was shown on the phone following the challenge issued earlier in the night by Knockouts World Tag Team Champions Allie and Kiera Hogan. The mystery person on the other end was eventually revealed to be former WWE star Shayna Baszler.
That immediately changed the entire feel of the challenge. Baszler made it clear she was willing to show up at Bound For Glory and team with Serrano, but she had one condition before agreeing to the match.
“As long as I get to break bones.”
With that, Serrano appears to have found her partner for the Knockouts World Tag Team Championship match this Sunday. Earlier in the show, Allie and Kiera Hogan challenged Serrano to find a partner and face them for the titles at Bound For Glory. The later phone segment answered the biggest question hanging over that challenge and gave Serrano one of the most dangerous possible partners she could have called.
The already-confirmed Bound For Glory lineup includes:

Now the Knockouts World Tag Team Championship picture has gotten a lot more interesting. Serrano needed a partner, made one phone call, and landed Shayna Baszler — who sounds less interested in introductions and more interested in leaving somebody with a medical bill.
