Rohit Raju is back in TNA Wrestling, and the former X Division Champion isn’t returning for a meaningless cameo — he’s jumping straight into the hunt for championship gold.

TNA’s post-Lockdown run begins with a live edition of Thursday Night iMPACT on AMC on August 27 from the CAA Centre in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. The action continues with television tapings on August 28, where Raju will officially return to the ring against Fabian Aichner.

The winner of Raju vs. Aichner will earn a spot in the six-way X Division Championship match at Bound For Glory. TNA announced the showdown alongside a second qualifying match featuring new signing Joe Alonzo against K.C. Navarro.

“Brampton, ON, Canada! See two TNA Bound For Glory X Division Title qualifying matches tomorrow as TNA iMPACT comes to the CAA Centre! Fabian Aichner vs. former X Division Champion Rohit Raju. K.C. Navarro vs. Joe Alonzo Jr.”

Raju’s comeback puts a familiar threat back in the X Division. He previously captured the championship and built his TNA run around finding any opening he could exploit. Now, he has one shot against Aichner to punch his ticket to one of the biggest matches on the Bound For Glory card.

Rohit Raju is back, but there won’t be any welcome-home party once the bell rings. Beat Fabian Aichner, and he moves one step closer to reclaiming the X Division Championship. Lose, and his road to Bound For Glory gets shut down immediately.

Do you think Rohit Raju will defeat Fabian Aichner and earn his place in the six-way X Division Championship match, or will his TNA return end with a brutal reality check? Leave your feedback and share your prediction in the comments.
