AEW WrestleDream is almost here, and fans just got their first look at the setup waiting inside the building. With only a couple of hours to go before the pay-per-view gets underway in Orlando, photos of AEW’s massive WrestleDream stage have started making the rounds.
The show is taking place tonight, October 17, at the Addition Financial Arena on the University of Central Florida campus. The main card begins at 8 PM ET, and AEW has clearly done more than just throw the usual weekly TV set inside the arena.
The first-look photos reveal a huge stage built around several tall pillars with open gaps between them. There are plenty of unique LED designs worked into the setup as well, giving the whole thing a much different feel from what fans normally see on Dynamite or Collision.
Another noticeable change is the entranceway itself. AEW has gone with a shorter entrance path for WrestleDream, meaning wrestlers won’t have nearly as far to travel before getting down to the ring.
The setup should look even more impressive once the arena goes dark and all of those LEDs are fired up. AEW has a packed card to present on that stage too, with Will Ospreay defending the World Championship against seven challengers in the first-ever Clockwork Carnage match.
Now that fans have seen what AEW has been building inside the Addition Financial Arena, there isn’t much left to do except turn the lights on and start the show. WrestleDream has its own massive stage for the occasion, and fans only have a couple more hours to wait before they get to see the finished product on television.
