TNA Lockdown 2026 hasn’t even started yet, and the fans in Chicago are already making plenty of noise.
Ringside News obtained footage from outside Credit Union 1 Arena on August 23 showing a large group of fans lined up ahead of TNA Lockdown and breaking into loud “TNA” chants roughly an hour before the show was set to begin.
The video shows fans gathered outside the venue waiting to get inside as the chants quickly take over the area. It was a strong scene for TNA before one of the company’s biggest events of the year even got underway.
Lockdown is taking place live from Credit Union 1 Arena in Chicago, with the Countdown to Lockdown beginning at 5 PM ET before the main card starts at 6 PM ET on TNA+.
There is plenty on the card for those fans to get fired up about. The Hardys are set to defend the TNA World Tag Team Championships against Nic and Ryan Nemeth inside a steel cage, while Cedric Alexander puts the X-Division Championship on the line against Leon Slater with Slater’s historic TNA record also at stake.
Xia Brookside will defend the TNA Knockouts World Championship against Elayna Black inside a steel cage, while Jason Hotch puts the TNA International Championship on the line against Mustafa Ali in another cage match.
The company is also bringing back Lethal Lockdown for the first time in nearly a decade, with The System taking on KC Navarro, Ricky Sosa, Fabian Aichner and Jada Stone.
Other matches include Elijah against AJ Francis in The Final Encore Steel Cage Match, Moose against Frankie Kazarian in an Escape the Cage Match, and The Elegance Brand defending the Knockouts World Tag Team Titles against Allie and a mystery partner.
The action will even start before the main card, with Trey Miguel facing Special Agent 0 and The Righteous taking on BDE and Rich Swann during the Countdown show.
TNA came into Lockdown with a loaded lineup, but the atmosphere outside Credit Union 1 Arena showed that the fans weren’t waiting for the opening bell to get involved. Those “TNA” chants were already echoing outside the building well before the doors closed and the real action began.
