Tiffany Stratton is officially Ms. Money in the Bank, but plenty of fans weren’t happy to see her walk away with the briefcase. Instead of celebrating the result, social media quickly filled with criticism from fans who felt WWE picked the wrong winner.

One fan took to Twitter after the show and argued that WWE continues to play it safe instead of creating new stars. They wrote:

“Yall are afraid of making fresh stars and good storytelling 🖕🏼”

Another fan made it clear they believed Roxanne Perez should have won the match instead. Their reaction was short but left no doubt about how they felt.

“WE WANTED ROXANNE YOU F****** FRAUD.”

A different fan also backed Perez, saying WWE completely missed the mark with this decision. They felt Roxanne needed the briefcase far more than Stratton did.

“Nobody asked for this. Roxanne needed this cause yall wrong for this.”

Some fans didn’t focus on any one wrestler and instead blasted WWE’s creative team as a whole. One viewer vented their frustration after the finish.

“Everybody is so f***** retarded nobody who books for this company knows a damn thing of what they’re doing.”

Another fan questioned why Stratton was chosen when they felt she was already established without the briefcase. They argued almost everyone else in the match would’ve benefited more from the win.

“Genuinely f***** stupid. She’s the one person that doesn’t need the briefcase, everyone else would benefit more from it and would have been the more interesting choice.”

One of the strongest reactions came from a fan who called the finish terrible booking and once again pointed to Roxanne Perez as the better option. They also claimed WWE was doing Perez a disservice by continuing to overlook her.

“What on earth is this? Roxanne winning was right there but no we need to go with boring Tiffy to unnecessarily play the fact of Tiffy heel turn against Chelsea which doesn’t need the MITB briefcase. This is Vince level garbage booking. Consistent burial of Roxanne is utter disrespect. This is a disgrace.”

The reaction online has been impossible to ignore, with Tiffany’s win immediately becoming one of the biggest talking points coming out of Money in the Bank. Whether fans eventually come around will likely depend on what WWE does with her briefcase over the next several months.

Did WWE make the right call by giving Tiffany Stratton the Money in the Bank briefcase, or should someone else have won it? Let us know in the comments below.
