Wrestling and weddings don’t mix very well and there’s no denying that. Wedding ceremonies on WWE TV are bound to end in disaster. That’s the truth. Tonight’s RAW featured not one but a double marriage segment and it got dragged pretty bad on social media.

WWE advertised the double wedding segment last week on RAW. It was revealed that R-Truth would officiate Reggie/Dana Brooke and Tamina/Akira Tozawa wedding tonight on RAW. WWE showcased the 24/7 Championhip strap in the middle of the ring for tonight’s segment.
WWE even got Women’s Tag Team Champions Sasha Banks and Naomi to be Tamina’s bridesmaids for the segments. Sasha’s involvement in the match did not sit well with the internet wrestling community. Many called out the company for insulting Sasha by booking her for the segment.
The only saving grace was R-Truth who handled the whole segment like the pro he is. Truth can turn any segment he’s in into gold and there’s no denying that. The former 24/7 Champion handled fan reaction like only he could. That said, here are some of the reactions from fans and wrestlers.

IMO…

I really enjoyed the wedding segment but I hated the fact that the #WWERaw Buffalo crowd decided to “What” it to death.
Also, as one of the best female wresters on the planet, Sasha Banks belongs nowhere near that comedy seg.
I'm sorry I've tried to be settle but 7 years in WWE and this is the best you got for Dana Brooke

24/7 Title being tossed around from person to person more than the AEW TNT Championship...Not sure which one is worse.

They need to get rid of the 24/7 title it's becoming a joke now and it's not funny anymore.
