Piper Niven had plenty to say about Jade Cargill after WWE Night of Champions, but now the internet is firing right back at her.

After Jade busted out the Black Hole Slam during her Women’s United States Championship match against Tiffany Stratton at WWE Night of Champions, Piper blasted the execution on social media, saying Jade botched the move and even suggesting she cared more about looking good than protecting her opponent.

“5/10 a bit sloppy, you didn’t transfer her weight onto your chest so you never really had her and that’s why she slipped out and you got that double bump effect and her head verberated on the mat. But you looked great, and who cares who you hurt so long as you’re alright, right?”

Safe to say, not everyone was on Team Piper. Instead of piling onto Jade, plenty of fans turned their attention to Piper, accusing the injured WWE star of being bitter, hypocritical, and flat-out unprofessional.

One fan fired off this response on Twitter: “You got a lot to say for somebody who only employed because you injured.” Another questioned whether Piper should really be criticizing someone else’s ring work.

“Wait hold up piper didnt you injure people before with your carelessness? Not a good look at all. This screams hater more than anything.”

One former supporter said Piper completely lost them with the way she kept going after Jade, calling the whole thing unprofessional and asking whether there was something more personal behind it.

“I was a big fan of yours. Truly. But this hard on you have for Jade ? I’m over it and not supporting you anymore. You’re weird for this. Are you insinuating Jade injured you ? Is that why you’re so bitter towards her ? What’s really going on ? This is unprofessional, do better”

Then came one of the roughest responses, with a fan accusing Piper and Chelsea Green of being obsessed with Jade while throwing in some very personal shots about Piper’s injury and career.

“Why are you and your friend Chelsea obsessed with Jade? Worry about putting your neck back together, babe. You b****** are so mad that you had to work 20 years deep into your career and you still have nothing to show for it. While she in a little under a decade has done more than you at a way bigger stage. GET HER D*** OUT YOUR MOUTH AND GO TO PHYSICAL THERAPY.”

The whole thing started after Jade used the Black Hole Slam during her title match against Tiffany Stratton. Piper has previously said Abyss personally gave her permission to use the move, so seeing Jade pull it out clearly didn’t sit well with her.

Jade, for her part, hasn’t responded to Piper’s comments. But she may not need to, because social media already did plenty of talking for her. Now the focus has shifted from whether Jade hit the move cleanly to whether Piper should have blasted another wrestler so publicly in the first place.

Whose side are you on in this one? Was Piper Niven giving honest criticism, or did fans have every right to call her out? Drop your thoughts in the comments below.
