Nikki Storm is heading to Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling.
MLP announced that Storm, who WWE fans know as Nikki Cross, will be part of the MLP Mayhem TV tapings on August 7 and August 8. This will mark her official debut for Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling.
That is a solid pickup for MLP, especially with Storm bringing name value from her WWE run and her current work as co-owner of PROGRESS Wrestling. She has been around major stages before, and now she is stepping into MLP as the company keeps loading up its television tapings.
MLP Mayhem will air on TSN, with the show set to premiere on July 15. That gives the promotion a real TV platform, and adding names like Storm helps make the upcoming tapings feel bigger.
She will not be the only familiar name at the event either. Andrade El Idolo, Shotzi Blackheart, and The Good Brothers, Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson, are also advertised for the tapings.
Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling is clearly trying to make some noise with MLP Mayhem, and Nikki Storm’s debut gives fans another reason to pay attention. Whether she shows up as a major player right away or just starts causing problems, her arrival adds another big name to the mix.
