Enzo Amore and Big Cass were a popular tag team during their time in WWE, but both were eventually released from the company for different reasons. Known for his bold personality, Amore has now claimed that WWE once fired him for breaking wind.

In January 2018, Enzo Amore was unexpectedly released from WWE while he was in his second reign as Cruiserweight Champion, following sexual assault allegations. The case was eventually closed due to insufficient evidence. Since his departure, the 37-year-old wrestler has been active on the independent circuit, competing for promotions like NJPW and MLW, and has been earning a substantial income from his appearances.

While speaking in an interview on Wrestling Shoot Interviews, Enzo Amore recounted an incident from a Dusty Rhodes promo class where he let out a loud fart. This led to him being kicked out of the class and subsequently fired that night. He called Triple H the next morning, who managed to get him rehired. Despite being reinstated, Amore was fined for the incident, removed from shows, and experienced a losing streak with Big Cass in NXT.

Amore described the fart as the loudest he had ever made, explaining that he thought it would serve as his promo. He accidentally ricocheted the fart off the metal chair he was sitting in, producing a sound like a duck quack. He assumed Dusty Rhodes would find it amusing, especially since Baron Corbin was giving a poor promo at the time. Amore’s intention was to make the fart his promo and avoid having to cut one himself, but things didn’t turn out as he had hoped.

“I farted in a Dusty Rhodes promo class, and Dusty Rhodes kicked me out of it. He got me fired that night. I called Triple H in the morning, and he got me rehired. Then I got fined for farting, taken off shows, and me and Big Cass went on a losing streak for a while in NXT. How bad was the fart? It was the loudest fart I’ve ever ripped in my entire life. That’s because I thought it was going to be my promo. I just, like, ricocheted it off the metal chair I was sitting in, and it just blasted off of it. It came out like a duck quack. Man, I thought Dusty would think it was funny because Baron Corbin was up there cutting a terrible promo, so I just raised my hand and farted. I thought it would be my promo, like I wouldn’t need to cut one, but yeah, there was that.”

Enzo Amore also made it clear he wants his contributions to be acknowledged by WWE. Regardless, we will have to wait and see if Amore will ever make his way back to WWE one day, as the landscape has truly changed there.
