Dave Meltzer reported in the latest issue of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Eli Drake is not being booked for the July 22nd Impact Slammiversary pay-per-view in Toronto because he still has not committed to staying with the company.
Drake’s deal with the company expired this past weekend despite working the Impact Wrestling television tapings. While the two sides continue to try to work things out, WWE appears to be interested in bringing him in as well.
