E&C’s Pod of Awesomeness Recap w/ Becky Lynch – Why She Calls Herself “The Man”, Fan Support, Potential WrestleMania Main Event, More!

Lynch informs that even when she struggled and couldn’t find ways to win, she didn’t think she lost the fans at all. Even though she wasn’t really giving the fans a reason to rally behind her they still loved her and she loved them. Now that things have turned around and she’s on the top of the mountain, the fans who always liked her quickly rallied behind her and created this special connection that we see today.

As disappointed as Lynch was about having to step aside at Survivor Series, Edge thinks it was a blessing in disguise because now he thinks Lynch vs. Ronda Rousey is a WrestleMania main event in the making. Lynch agrees that her and Rousey could, and maybe even should main event WrestleMania because she doesn’t think there are two other Superstars in WWE right now that have that level of momentum or fan support. She challenges other Superstars step up and take that mantel away.
Lynch speaks highly of Rousey. She thinks Rousey was the main factor in UFC embracing women’s MMA. She also points out that Rousey has picked up professional wrestling quicker than anyone she’s ever seen, maybe except for Kurt Angle.
