Dustin Rhodes isn’t done chasing gold just yet. In a new interview with Sportskeeda’s Bill Apter, “The Natural” opened up about his final chapter in professional wrestling — and he’s got his eyes locked on one more prize before hanging up his boots for good.
“Before I retire, which will probably be in two or three years, I do want a shot at the Ring of Honor World Title,” Rhodes said. “I think I can get it.”
Rhodes, who already holds the ROH Tag Team Titles with Sammy Guevara and the ROH Six-Man Titles with The Von Erichs, made it clear that the top belt is the last mountain he wants to climb before calling it a career.
When asked if he sees Ring of Honor regaining the momentum it once had, Rhodes replied, “I hope it is. I love Ring of Honor. We’re trying, we’re doing the best we can.”
