Don Callis says he has receipts—and Will Ospreay may not want him to press play. The AEW manager claims he recorded every conversation he has ever had with talent, including private talks in which Ospreay allegedly admitted he didn’t believe he could defeat Kenny Omega without help.

During an appearance on TMZ’s Inside the Ring, Callis was confronted with Ospreay’s admission that it eats him alive knowing his victory over Omega involved outside assistance. Callis wasn’t interested in hearing Ospreay rewrite their history now that the relationship is dead. Callis claimed he possesses audio recordings of every conversation he has ever had with talent and threatened to release the tapes involving Ospreay.

“Isn’t hindsight a wonderful thing, to sit there and say that? Jeez, I should play you guys the tapes. I have the audio tapes of every conversation I’ve ever had with talent and every conversation I ever had with Will Ospreay. I should release those.”

According to Callis, Ospreay privately begged him to arrange the match with Omega and openly questioned whether he could win without Callis in his corner. He also claimed Ospreay asked him to secure a match against Chris Jericho at Wembley Stadium.

“He was begging me, ‘Please get me in the ring with Kenny Omega.’ And I did that for him. ‘I don’t think I can beat Kenny. Please help me.’ And I did that. ‘I want to wrestle Chris Jericho at Wembley Stadium,’ and I made that happen.”

Callis gave Ospreay credit for succeeding after leaving the Don Callis Family, but he claimed Ospreay shares the same mental weakness he once saw in Omega.

“It’s all very convenient now that Will is on his own. I’ll give Will credit—he’s done a tremendous job. This kid is a great athlete. But like Kenny, they have something in common, and that’s mental weakness.”

Callis didn’t stop there. He reminded Ospreay that he accepted the victories, championships, money and attention that came with their partnership before deciding he could succeed alone.

“You took the money. You took the fame. You took the titles, and you took everything I gave you. Then you thought you could do it on your own, found out you couldn’t, and now you’re going to whine about it. Very nice.”

Callis has now thrown gasoline on an already nasty situation by claiming he has private recordings that could expose exactly what Ospreay said behind closed doors. Whether he ever releases the audio remains to be seen, but the threat alone gives Ospreay another problem heading into his AEW World Championship match against Omega.

What do you think Callis would reveal if he released his alleged recordings of Ospreay and other AEW talent? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
