Diamond Dallas Page found a pretty hilarious way to complain about gas prices, and he brought Kevin Nash into it. DDP used Nash’s old Diesel gimmick for a joke about just how expensive filling up at the pump has become.

Taking to Twitter, DDP uploaded a meme featuring Nash from his days as Diesel in WWE. The image was designed like a gas station price board, listing Diesel at $6.10 9/10, regular at $4.89 9/10, plus at $5.09 9/10 and premium at $5.29 9/10.

Of course, DDP couldn’t resist pointing out the obvious connection between that Diesel price and his longtime friend. He joked that the last time Diesel was that high, Nash was running things in WWE.

“Last time Diesel was 6.10 is when my boy @RealKevinNash was owning the @WWE! 🤣 DDP”

Nash famously portrayed Diesel during his first WWE run and became one of the company’s biggest stars of the mid-1990s. He captured the WWE Championship in 1994 and held the title for nearly a year before eventually leaving the company for WCW in 1996.

So DDP wasn’t about to let a gas-price meme featuring his buddy’s old character go to waste. With one wrestling throwback and a painfully familiar trip to the pump, he managed to turn the whole thing into a pretty solid Diesel joke.
